When either of us is dead and gone, the survivor will be tickled to death to hear the other’s tones again ... Now it’s in, and you’ve only to begin talking. In a distant future with no awareness of music and concerts as we know it, archeologists have excavated a tape-machine and a number of tape-rolls, one of them with a live recording of Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto. To better understand the nature of the sounds stored on the mostly deteriorated tapes they connect the tape-machine to a "reverse echolocation"-chamber, enabling them to visualise and explore the space where the mysterious, acoustic signals were recorded ...
